Shipping & Delivery

Thank you for supporting my work. Each piece is carefully packaged using protective materials to ensure it arrives in excellent condition.

Processing Times Orders are typically processed within 3–8 working days. As a small independent artist, I handle all packaging myself, so I appreciate your patience during busy periods.

Shipping Rates Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and the size of your order.

How Your Artwork Ships Paintings are packaged based on size and destination:

  • Rolled in a protective tube — Paintings larger than 40 × 40 cm shipped internationally are carefully rolled and dispatched in a rigid protective tube. This is the safest method for larger works in international transit. The canvas will need to be re-stretched upon arrival — full instructions are included with your order.
  • Flat and stretched — Paintings up to 40 × 40 cm (including framed works) are shipped flat and fully stretched/framed, with protective wrapping and corner protection.
  • UK domestic (larger works) — For larger works within the UK, I encourage local collection or personal delivery where possible. Where posted, all works are sent with insurance included.

    Re-Stretching Your Canvas

Your painting will arrive rolled in a protective tube with full re-stretching instructions included. Here's what to expect:

    What you'll need:

    • A canvas stretcher frame cut to your painting's dimensions (available from art supply shops)
    • A staple gun with 10–12mm staples
    • A clean, flat surface
    • A helper is recommended for larger pieces

    Steps:

    1. Unroll the canvas and lay it flat for 24–48 hours to allow it to relax naturally
    2. Assemble your stretcher frame and check it's square (measure diagonally — both measurements should be equal)
    3. Lay the canvas face-down, centre the frame on top with equal overlap on all sides
    4. Starting at the middle of each side, pull taut and staple, working outward on opposite sides alternately
    5. Fold the corners neatly and staple flat
    6. Turn over and check for evenness

    Tips:

    • A light misting of water on the back can help relax stubborn creases — allow to dry fully under tension
    • Any local picture framer can re-stretch for you, usually for a modest fee
    • Do not use heat guns or irons directly on the canvas

Delivery Estimates Delivery typically takes 5–8 working days, though times may vary depending on your location, postal services, and customs.

Packaging All artworks are professionally packaged with protective materials to prevent damage in transit. Smaller and framed works are wrapped in bubble wrap and corner-protected before boxing. Larger works shipped internationally are rolled in acid-free tissue and dispatched in a rigid tube.

International Orders & Customs For orders shipped outside the UK, customs fees, import duties, or local taxes may apply. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the item or shipping price. We recommend checking your country's import regulations before placing an order.
